Board-Certified Neurologist

Jin Zhou, MD, PhD joined Long Island Neurology Consultants in 2008. She was born in China where she completed her medical education and obtained her MS and PhD in pharmacology. She moved to the United States and began working at National Institute of Mental Health (NIH) as a research scientist since 2002. She is recognized for her productivity and her knowledge in the research of cerebrovascular disorders. Dr. Zhou joined SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 2008 as a research assistant professor and completed her internship and residency in Neurology.

Dr Zhou has an exceptional record of success in neuroscience research and published over 30 articles in all the major peer-reviewed journals. As a board-certified Neurologist, she is specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological diseases which include stroke, epilepsy, headache, dementia, neurodegenerative diseases, multiple sclerosis, spinal and movement disorders.
